I heard they were trying to arrest Grandfather Woodstock. It's such bullshit that police will show up armed with fucking M16s and shotguns when they Rainbow Family obviously means them no harm. Especially since the Rainbows don't carry weapons. I also heard from someone who was there that the cops just show up to fuck with people. That's our government, got nothin' better to do than fuck with people who want nothing but peace.

Only problem with that is they are an Emergency Management Team created by the Feds to monitor and control the Rainbow Family (or anyone else for that matter). They know them very well. They know they choose non-violence better than anyone would know. They have confronted them many times and no one has been hurt in the 35 years thusfar.

You cant use the Rainbow Family to handle guns. It would be an oxymoron. I have nothing against militancy if the situation arises but a Rainbow Family militia would be like a PETA run meat-packing plant.

Hear is the real prob. every year leo's find out who runs the kitchen's than they ticket them and make it even harder for them to come next year. the problem with this is without all the old timers to educate the new comers it is easy for situations to get out of hand. All us gathering goers just need to remember we are there for peace and even if the leos do start shit like they always do. ignore them

I am so happy the police are here to protect me from people peacefully assembling instead of stopping drug smugglers and terrorists from crossing that wide open door they call a border.

Only a lawless thug blocks a road that police officers are trying to navigate. Too bad they didnt bring a bus and clean up the area. The only freedom I could tell that the loudmouth yellers of "freedom" didn't have, was the freedom to be lawless jerks. You wanna look and act like lazy bums, it's a free country already. If you wanna become a problem, block roads and break laws, them I have no sympathy and fully support police intervention.
