Description: A music video of AFI's song "Celluloid Dream" from their "Sing the Sorrow" album. The video was made by my cousin Victor, whom I admire for his great video work. When I saw this on his website, I thought that the whole world should see it. Now, 3 or 4 years later, and with the magic of Youtube, that thought is now reality. Mabye he'll see how popular his work is one day...(that day happened to the 12/5/07)... A note from the creator himself (also the mother in the video): Hello Everyone - this is Victor the guy who spent way too much time on this video over four+ years ago (if my timing is right). A big time thanks to everyone who digs the vid. To answer the "why?" - AFI was running a contest for people to create a homemade video with songs from "Sing the Sorrow" but the deadline was over by the time my brother introduced me to A.F.I.'s music. I figured why not give it a try anyhow, even though I missed the deadline, to see if people would like it. In the end, I posted it on the Despair Faction boards and I received some nice comments from Mr. Havok himself (which rocked) but I had no idea it was being broadcast on youtube - a big thank you to whoever has this up and posted. I'll put some of my other videos up on youtube in the near future, right now I've been working on my website and on the next wave of comic books that will "hopefully" be out in 2008. Thanks again as finding this post just made my day! VC Almost 15,000 views! Thanks a lot guys! |
