Why do you beat around the bush instead of communicating your real feelings? Are you scared of damaging the image you've forced onto people? Are you afraid that people will see that your self image is flawed? Why are we afraid of what people think of us? Why do we guard who we really are from other people? Is it easier than opening up? To create a barrier, a mask, a "presentation" of ourselves?
