| ccwman21 ::: Favorites 2008-01-21 01:35:01 The first lesson establishes the proper position of Truth. Theory & hypothesis will always presuppose that Truth exists. An absolute standard must exist, if the scientific terms "Theory" & "Hypothesis" are to have any relevance to life & the human experience. I am eager to see where Dr. Tackett is willing to go in this tour. I am also, willing to forgo prejudice about political spin that may be too easily pinned on Truth. (caveat emptor; Truth will not always go where we expect Him to go.) __________________________________________________ | |

| MsLatosi ::: Favorites 2008-01-20 17:45:53 The biggest questions known to Man & Science are, "How did life begin and how did the universe come to be". Evolution Science proponents are no longer willing to position themselves by attempting to answer these two questions, they are clueless. The reason Evolution Scientist refuse to answer these two questions is because it is impossible to answer them without suggesting something beyond scientific understanding happened, something Larger than Life like "God". __________________________________________________ | |
| schafproductions ::: Favorites 2008-01-20 17:00:03 Darwinism is not a religion. There is the theory of evolution, originally written up by Darwin, if that is what you are referring to. It's also not an ideology of choice. It is a theory, only so far no one's done a good job at falsifying it. __________________________________________________ | |
| Peacy ::: Favorites 2008-01-08 18:40:53 I'm going to Pheonix so I can host the series at my apartment. We are seeing this series at church. I wept after the first session, it really is profound!! I have no greater love than for the truth, and Christ IS truth. __________________________________________________ | |
| CurtusLove ::: Favorites 2007-12-31 00:38:51 Sorry mate, I think they got zapped! Some atheist was making a God Bash and I responded with facts they hate to hear. Best Wishes! __________________________________________________ | |
| Yesica1993 ::: Favorites 2007-12-30 00:38:49 I'm not sure who you were trying to respond to. __________________________________________________ | |
| MsLatosi ::: Favorites 2007-12-30 00:35:16 I think both sides of the fence have enough to be ashamed of that people from every philosophy should re-approach the table being a bit humble. Lets take a look at what the religion of Darwinianism has done for man in the past 200 years: It's been Hilter's, Stalin's, Pol Pot's, and Chairman Mao's ideology of choice, then came the killing fields. Not a lot to be proud of friend. __________________________________________________ | |
| HyperBuu ::: Favorites 2007-12-13 01:36:43 Yeah, same here. I look forward to my Philosophy class next semester. Assuming it's not Philosophy turned into bull shit by the school system. __________________________________________________ | |
| simplylite ::: Favorites 2007-12-02 03:01:27 I would absolutely love to do this- it looks amazing. After sitting under a college professor for one semester, I was subjected to so much garbage that I'd come home in tears- SO confused about basic right/wrong, truth/lies. (and I was only 17!) __________________________________________________ | |
| LeoTheBoy ::: Favorites 2007-11-05 02:38:17 Hee... I love that their primary image of the Worldview Foundation is ... a classical Greek architecture invented by the genius and ingenuity of "pagans"... When Christianity took over from *them*, we had a nice long Dark Ages... Make no mistake that Christians are determined to return us all to another Dark Age... __________________________________________________ | |
| Yesica1993 ::: Favorites 2007-10-02 14:22:55 How I wish this training would come to Chicago. And no, coming to some far away suburb is NOT the same. Many people have no way of getting there. __________________________________________________ | |
| btrask3 ::: Favorites 2007-08-17 09:53:33 I am a slow learner... at 60 years young... I am amazed of the lies I have made my own over the years. No matter your age, you owe it to yourself to consider "What is Truth" - and the truth project is a GREAT place to start. __________________________________________________ | |
| parispeter2 ::: Favorites 2007-07-16 11:27:28 It's good to get people thinking about big questions...at least if it doesn't remain at this very abstract level. It's just a pity that it's focussed on a Christian worldview, which excludes non-Christians. Christians do not have a monopoly on reflexion on truth. Try reading Simon Blackburn's "Truth" for example. __________________________________________________ | |
