Description: Watch the water level in the aquariums drop as the water level in the "tunnel" rises.The "scat" couldn't wait for the tunnel to fill to get back to his "buddies" in the other aquarium. The original test rig was with copper pipes, to see if a vacuum would actually lift the water to a usefull working height. It worked but nearly "buggered-up" the company vacuum-pump! So I built my own with a reservoir tank that any water vaced by the set-up goes into and not the pump body. I videoed all the testing and the 1st fish to enter the tunnel on Compact VHS, if anyone is interested I could convert this to wmv and post it. Laurie & Rom |
