| mxtchjvlz ::: Favorites Thanks for posting this. I listened to this song probably 30 times today already. I remember first being floored by Love after getting it through a crummy record club (also got The Smiths Queen Is Dead in the same order) I remember getting the gate-fold LP of Electric and taking it to school because I couldn't be without it for a day. I never had either SDC or DC lps though... I'm going to change that right now :) 07-10-01 17:37:39 __________________________________________________ | |

| adamabyss ::: Favorites Yeah, I used to have them on video tape that I bought in Camden Market around 1992. I wish I could see those two songs again, you are right simonchin, they are great versions. 07-08-25 05:58:44 __________________________________________________ | |
| simonchin ::: Favorites Would be amazing to see the whole gig if the tapes even still exist. The SDC footage here catches them pretty much at their peak. Someone out there must have "The Crypt" and "Today". The versions of these two tracks aired are even more amazing than the two tracks already up from this show. 07-08-20 22:54:56 __________________________________________________ | |
| simonchin ::: Favorites Somewhere in the vaults of Channel 4 lies a goldmine. Running in '82 - '83 I believe. This program put on and filmed gigs at the Ace in Brixton for an amazing number of quality bands of the period. Basically they aired 4 tracks from each band over 2 seasons. The first season "Whatever you want", the second season "Whatever you didn't get". Keith Allen was the host. 07-08-20 22:50:55 __________________________________________________ | |
