It was $1800 for the display model at Best Buy in March of this year. Pretty good price, I think they were around $2200 new at the time. I know they have some newer models that are even slimmer and have more hdmi inputs and whatnot.

I luv ur typing skills they rok! No you don't. An HDMI cable carries all the high definition video & audio signals for the device so only the one cable is necessary. However since my receiver doesn't have HDMI inputs I have to use the HDMI cable for video only and a Toslink optical cable for the audio. Hopefully I will be upgrading to a Onkyo 605 receiver w/ HDMI inputs and support for the high definition audio formats soon enough. Hope that helps..just please learn to type properly.

Heroes is a lame-ass soap opera. And it's not even an original concept. Rip-off a classic idea from X-Men and hire some shit writers. Fuck that.

Haha yeah. I like blu-ray, but I recently bought the Xbox HD-DVD drive so I have both now. Hard to say which is better, but with Universal putting out so many good movies & tv shows (Heroes) lately, it's hard not to like HD-DVD.
