However, Michigan is the original, and ND is the spin-off. As an U of M alumnus, I will eternally bleed maize & blue. The all-time "winningest" program in IA, 11 national titles, and the first school to ever win a bowl game, the Rose Bowl, 49-0 over Stanford.
