You have probably tried this already, but let someone catch you with the standing LP after the LK tatsu and see if you can throw/reverse/parry out of whatever they do next. | rayksp ::: Favorites actually, the fierce punch - light tatsu - fierce shoryu is actually a 5hit combo and cannot be countered once the first fierce punch (or low medium kick) hits him. your suggestion means the person CAN recover after u dont finish him off with a shoryu, and if that ken was smart he could have easily killed you. 07-08-27 16:50:17 __________________________________________________ | |
| xiayu27 ::: Favorites I purposely used LP after the LK tatsu to reset my opponent in the air so that he doesn't fall when he lands. Allows you to do more damage faster since your opponent recovers instantly and gives them less time to think about a counter move or a pop-up attack. | arindam43 ::: Favorites Just some advice... Ditch SAIII, easily his worst super. SAI is much better in just about every way (confirms, safety, chip, anti-air) other than raw damage. Also, try to cut back on the random hurricane kicks - a good Ken will just get two free jab shoryus if he picks up the air one (or worse), and can reversal Shippu the ground one. | ThunderousWrath ::: Favorites Good to hear that you guys still practice. Those two crouching LKs looked like he was trying to set up a Super. Then, when it didn't work, he threw out that CrHK basically to cover his tracks. I sometimes play around with him and parry them all just to remind him that he has a routine. He is improving though.
