Then, if people still want to "tithe" money, no problem. RUABerean ::: Favorites Churches should get money to keep lights working by their members GIVING. If they wanna give 10, 20 or 50% of their money every month, fine. But giving & tithing are 2 different things. I never said that it was WRONG to tithe, but it's wrong for preachers to DEMAND that members tithe, and then threaten them by saying God's gonna curse them by quoting Malachi 3(Directed ONLY at people under the law) if they don't.
