Description:
This is a little known documentary based on the book Future Shock by Alvin Toffler. See review here: http://oddculture.com/2004/11/13/movie-review-future-shock/ This movie came out in 1972 and features Orson Welles as the narrator. I was most amused by the high amount of paranoia in regards to the future... some of the segments (like people choosing their own skin color) are downright hilarious. Worth a look - at the very least for its historical value. As far as I can tell, this documentary is in the public domain. Part 1 of 5 |

| teflonmagnet ::: Favorites orson's "friend" whose house (guest cottage most likely) he is borrowing probably produced this film and had orson narrate it while he staid there. so many later projects were far beneath this great american artist's talents. 07-07-08 06:45:23 _____________________________________________________ | |

| webdemarcio ::: Favorites Cool soundtrack. The synths remember me Clockwork Orange by Kubrick. "people choosing their own skin color" can´t help remember me of Michael Jackson. :-) 07-07-29 22:08:02 _____________________________________________________ | |
