| crazybilby ::: Favorites "haning by the rafters by his own intestines with ladies underwaer stuffed down his throat..." "... is that something i have to worry about?" ROFL! oh and the rest was hilarious! y isnt this noticed!? 07-07-25 07:55:54 _____________________________________________________ | |
| mahalanee ::: Favorites I know. I figured it was. 07-07-19 19:46:21 _____________________________________________________ | |
| BreakaLegTV ::: Favorites Is it? Which... oh.. do you mean where he says she's like a surfboard or something? The joke was actually improvised, so all similarities to Arrested Development is purely coincidental. 07-07-04 14:43:56 _____________________________________________________ | |
| mahalanee ::: Favorites fact... not... face. 07-07-04 05:00:49 _____________________________________________________ | |
| mahalanee ::: Favorites "she's like a boy under there" that is an arrested development joke. but oh well. i still love the show with all of my heart. as much as i love arrested development, minus the face that you have no will arnett. 07-07-04 04:56:39 _____________________________________________________ | |
| BreakaLegTV ::: Favorites I'm not sure who you mean is the rip-off of Michael Scott. Do you mean... the.. PR guy...? Most characters in comedies share similarities -- there will always be a straight man, a goofball cast, a strange boss, so on and so forth. If we took AD's characters, AD took the characters of every goofball comedy ever created. That said, we'll be the first ones to tell you how much better AD is than our show. We'll take it as a huge compliment to be even compared to them. 07-05-24 19:51:17 _____________________________________________________ | |
| mikehaldin ::: Favorites Well after watching the other episode I hadn't made it to the part where you have the boss that is a complete rip off of steve carell's character in the office. The other character's in your show still remain who are rip offs of Arrested Development characters and the complete take off Arrested Development in your story lines is still there. Except you lack the witty twists. Oh and I guess the Bluth last name. I would love for Mitch Hurwitz to watch your show and share his opinion. 07-05-24 19:19:13 _____________________________________________________ | |
| jus10m ::: Favorites Seriously, you'd think they would get it! We started the show with a guy tied and at gun point, and then it all goes to a flash back. I mean how blatant do we have to be?!? In fact our show's name is actually a shorter version of the original name: Break a Leg in a Fight Club. Ah well, maybe when we show that Jennifer is in fact David's alter ego in ep 3, they might get it. 07-05-24 15:44:38 _____________________________________________________ | |
| BreakaLegTV ::: Favorites Wait, I thought we were a copy of Arrested Development. Well, now I don't know WHAT we're a copy of! We tried to get Tony Soprano to play his role. And then have Jennifer Aniston play hers, but then we realized we're not a copy of the Sopranos, Friends, The Office OR Arrested Development -- we're a copy of FIGHT Club. I think. This is all so confusing! 07-05-24 15:35:28 _____________________________________________________ | |
| mikehaldin ::: Favorites Too bad you couldn't have landed Steve Carell to play his own part. 07-05-24 13:55:31 _____________________________________________________ | |
